Welcome to the first installment of Work Out Wednesday. My goal is to provide you all with a great work out that you can do anywhere! No equipment required!
This week’s Work Out Wednesday will take you about 15 minutes (maybe less, maybe more depending on your fitness level) and you will burn more calories than you would if you ran on a treadmill for an hour. Sounds good right? This type of training is called metabolic conditioning. It stimulates the hormones that increase metabolism and pushes the body into fat-burning mode for up to 24-48 hours after you’ve finished exercising.
I named this week’s Work Out Wednesday Challenge 75 – simply because you will have completed 75 squats, push ups, and sit ups once you have completed the Challenge. You are doing the challenge for time so make sure to push yourself! It’s okay to take a few seconds to catch your breath if needed but in order to reap the benefits of metabolic conditioning, you must keep pushing yourself the entire time. We are only putting in about 15 (or less) of work here so you have to make it count! For modifications and step by step instuctions for all of the moves in this work out, check out the video below!

25 Squats
15 Jumping Jacks
25 Push Ups
5 Burpees
25 Sit Ups
